Good things come to those who wait, and Miami residents anxiously awaited the opening of Morimoto South Beach since the flagship restaurant was announced. The restaurant, designed by Tokyo-based Glamorous Group, will grab your attention from the second you walk into the door. Warm cooper hues and soft lavender lighting sets the tone.
Chef Morimoto's signature Japanese dishes are created with both Japanese and Western ingredients of the freshest and highest standard. Before even looking at the menu, ask your server about Morimoto's sakes, offered in 5-year and 10-year incarnations. Each and every menu item could easily be mistaken as a piece of art. Spicy King Crab, Hamachi Tacos and the Tuna Pizza are a few fan favorite appetizers-and when dining at one of Chef Morimoto's restaurants, we recommend ordering one of everything off the sushi menu. Main course specialties include Duck, Duck, Duck and a variety of Wagyu dishes. Now onto dessert, the Salty Caramel Chocolate Tart is a can't miss-did we mention it's served lit on fire?
Moral of the story? Morimoto South Beach will quickly become a new regular in your dinner roster. Call (305) 341-1500 or visit opentable.com to make your reservations.
